1. “Honest, simple, and fun” are my magic words for a joyful life
I am my best version when I am honest not only with people but also with my authentic self. I believe living a happy life should not be complicated. In fact, complexity creates confusion and loss.
2. Always address the root cause
It doesn’t make sense to me if I am asked to do something without knowing the reason why. I will choose to look for the root rather than mask the problem even if it causes pains and takes huge efforts. I believe that if you want to cure the baby, you must heal the mother first.
One of the most important lessons that I have learned on my journey to health is listening to my body in order to find the root cause. We can never find the root if we don’t listen closely. Oftentimes, the body will try to signal us about the problems way before the problem really occurs. Sadly, instead of listening to it, we ignore our body from times to times.
3. Understand how things work, and be critical
You are unique, and so I am. We are born to be different from each other, and that what makes this world colorful. I strongly believe that there is neither “one-size-fits-all” diet nor “one-size-fits-all” health advice. The fact that something works for your mother, your brother or your best friends does not guarantee that same thing will work for you. Hence, it is critical to understand how your body functions, how vitamin, fat or protein metabolized in your body etc. Then, we are able to make a judgment on the information in order to know what to take, and what not to.
4. No one understands your body better than You do
I have no intention to give you these types of advice: “do this and don’t do that”, or “eat this and don’t eat that”. My goal is to introduce you all the tools so that you are able to design a healthy eating plan which works for your own bio-individuality.
