Why “Eat Real. Be You”?
“Eat Real” means we should only eat real foods. Real foods are foods that help nourish our body, mind, and soul every time we eat them. Unfortunately, not everything we eat today is real foods. There are fake foods everywhere we go. Fake foods are foods that you can eat, but they either add no value or inflame your body. Hence, it is not worth to put them in your mouth at all. Fake foods often are wrapped in beautiful and allured packages to attract you. I will try my best to show you how to separate the real from the fake. You will be surprised to know many hidden secrets that the food industry doesn’t want us to know.
“Be You” means be who you really are, not who you should be, or supposed to be. Isn’t our individuality the greatest gift that we have ever received? Unfortunately, we are trained so long by the society, schools, and family that we must follow some standard set of rules and principles, and get some standard achievements in order to have a successful life. Years and years working very hard to keep up with all of those “so-called” standards, my life was blue. I saw nothing except for fears: fear of not fitting in, fear of being considered failure, fear of not being loved, and fear of changes. In many ways, I become my own worst enemy. Therefore, it wasn’t a surprise to see why my body collapses all at once. The collapse is just the reflection of where I have been shut down to my true self, where I am not willing to express fully who I really am.
My healing wasn’t really begun until I embrace my inner voice, acknowledge my emotions, and respect my body. I have to say that being honest with my true self has been my biggest champion after all. I have learned to love all parts of me even the struggling ones. Now, I encourage you to do the same and connect to your inner wisdom. You will see how peaceful life is when you are You, not someone else. Try it, I am sure you will see the lotus blooming inside!
